Unlike my cooking journey I’ve always thoroughly enjoyed making things beautiful. When I was small my Barbie dolls had the best looking lounge rooms in the neighborhood, making furniture out of toilet rolls is a fascinating past time.

My real life journey began when I moved in with Josh and the contents of my bedroom struggled to fit into his bachelor pad. After a couple of YouTube rabbit holes I came across  Alejandra Costello , a professional organiser from the US who had really clever hacks at a time when I needed them the most.

I was astounded by how much my life became easier with some clever organizing and my home improvement itch grew. The bachelor pad was transformed into an organised apartment  with Manhatten vibes .

About a year ago we moved into a proper house with more than one room and my love for D.I.Y and home decorating has only grown. Now most of our house is furnished with refurbished furniture, home made artwork and creative renovations.
